Kim Cole has been an
artist her entire life. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, where she
still resides today. Kim's love for art was palpable at the tender
age of five as she expressed her own take on life with exceptional
ability. Kim's artistic style could be categorized as "Realism",
as she takes her perspective of the world and paints them
in
3-D. Kim has studied Art with such Master Artisans as
Lonnie Powell and Jim Ryan. Kim currently holds membership with:
The Kansas City Artist Coalition; The Arts Council of Metropolitan
Kansas City and
The Light in the Other Room which is a local
organization of African-American professional artists. For three
years (2004 - 2007) Kim was an Art Instructor for Whitefield Academy an
elite Classical Christian school. She taught the fundamentals and
challenges of art to grades 7 through 12 as well as inspiring the eager
minds of the lower school, K through 6. Currently Kim is working
full-time in her art studio where she is composing a body of work for
